ANN ARBOR, Mich. (September 15, 2015). LLamasoft, the global leader in supply chain design software, will exhibit and present at the Automotive Logistics 2015 conference, September 22-24 at the Marriott at the Renaissance Center in downtown Detroit. The conference, in its 16th year, draws logistics professionals in the automotive industry from across North America.
LLamasoft Senior Vice President of Customer Success, John Ames, Jr. along with Vijay Bharawaj, Lead Intercontinental Logistics Engineer of General Motors will present “Leaders & Followers: Design Alternative Network Before Disruption,” at 9 a.m., Thursday, September 24 as part of Session 5. In this presentation Ames and Bharawaj will discuss how the proliferation of available data along with advances in design software allows supply chain and logistics professionals to proactively change the way they execute large network diversions with either controlled cost or true visibility to premium cost.
“Supply chain risk continues to be a top of mind topic for supply chain executives, especially in the automotive sector” said Ames. “Many industry leaders have incorporated resiliency into their supply chain design analytical processes to best plan for disruptions and unforeseen events, and thrive despite them.”
LLamasoft works with many of the world’s largest and most complex organizations, including several leading automotive OEMs and suppliers. LLamasoft will be exhibiting at the conference in Booth 26.Media Contact
