LLamasoft Opens Asian Business Office in China
June 13th, 2011
Shanghai, China and Ann Arbor, MI U.S.A. – LLamasoft Inc. today announced the official opening of their new business office in Shanghai, China. The staff within this new office includes business development, professional services, and customer support personnel.
As LLamasoft continues to expand its position as the market leader in Supply Chain Design software and support services, the Asian market is becoming a major growth area. LLamasoft has for years supported global, multi-national companies with operations in China, but there is now more demand for Supply Chain Design solutions coming from Chinese national companies as well, facilitating LLamasoft’s presence in China.
“China has historically been a sourcing location for many global supply chains, with products flowing from manufacturing centers to port cities and then out to the U.S. and Europe,” stated LLamasoft’s Executive Vice President, Toby Brzoznowski. “Today, growing consumer demand within China and China’s huge investment in the country’s transportation infrastructure is causing many organizations to completely redesign their supply chain operations. It is a moving target, and a challenge that lends itself well to LLamasoft’s Supply Chain Design solutions. We are excited to add more local Asian support to help our global customers design their supply chain strategies.”
LLamasoft’s new office is located in the heart of Shanghai’s business district.
