We offer a range of training opportunities to get you familiarized with Supply Chain
GuruTM. These range from introductory classes to onsite personal training. Below
you will find a description of our training classes along with the 2009-2010 schedule.
Beginners
This three day hands-on training offers you a detailed introduction to Supply Chain
Guru™. The course combines informative, short lectures with a series of case
studies and examples to give participants confidence and skills to tackle a whole
range of supply chain modeling issues. You will leave the course with a good understanding
of supply chain concepts and how to build them in Supply Chain Guru™.
This class is meant for users who are new to Supply Chain Guru™. The combination
of lectures and hands on training will place the various techniques that are presented
during the class in the wider context of Supply Chain Network Design.
Intermediate
This two day training course takes participants through the more advanced simulation
and optimization modeling techniques. It builds directly on the knowledge gained
in the basic course, but further explores such topics as multi time period optimization
techniques, inventory optimization, and the use of constraints. Class participants
will learn how different advanced modeling techniques can help them create highly
detailed models of their supply chains.
Class instruction is fast paced, but tailored for the individual participants. The
hands on instruction will ensure that each class member leaves with a strong of
understanding of Supply Chain Guru™ and how to apply it to their own models.
Advanced
This class is for users who are already familiar with the tool and seek to take
their knowledge to the next level. This class is tailored to each participant's
unique needs. Common topics are custom constraints, scripting, and advanced output
analysis. The duration of the class will vary depending on the attendee's objectives.

In addition to our standard training classes we also offer on-site custom training
as well as custom coaching.
Custom Training
Custom training combines our beginner’s, intermediate, and advanced training. We
tailor it to your team’s specific needs and deliver it on-site. If you are looking
at getting your whole team trained on how to use Supply Chain GuruTM to solve your
specific network design problems, this is the class for you.
Personal Training
Personal training is similar in scope to custom training, but is tailored to one
individual’s (or a small group’s) needs. This training can be conducted
on-site or at our Ann Arbor office.
